1970 Vintage Husqvarna 400 Cross

Original owner Malcolm Smith

SOLD

This bike was originally owned by Malcolm Smith and was the first 1970 400 Cross he bought from the first group of 400’s that came into the country.
I have not researched the race history on the bike. The bike was on exhibit from July 26, 2007 to July 2008 at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in the Malcolm Smith exhibit.
Three of the photos are of the bike at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame and two with Malcol signing the invoice and tank. You will see the tank has been signed by Malcolm Smith, Mert Lawwill and Bruce Brown.
I have the original invoice for this bike signed by all three.

The Annual Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum Concours d’Elegance is a juried show where only the most compelling original or painstakingly restored vintage motorcycles are invited
to participate. The bike came in third place in the 2007 Concours d’Elegance in 1970-75 competition category.
